BIG SURFTAG WEEKEND COMING UP FOR BOARDRIDING CLUBS

Tuesday 10th September 2024 – Manly, Sydney.

Twenty Boardriding Clubs from all over Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast and South Coast have entered teams in this weekend’s CARVE EYEWEAR MEN’S SURFTAG at Queenscliff Beach, Sydney. North Narrabeen Boardriders will go into the event as the defending Men’s Surftag champions and will be looking to continue their early success in this year’s Surftag Series with their Under 14’s team winning the GYG Grommets Surftag last month.

North Narrabeen have named a six-man squad that includes Challenger Series surfers Jordy Lawler and Dylan Moffat as well as Davey Cathels, Jamie Thomson, Kai Warner and Jack Bannister. Queenscliff Boardriders will be competing on home turf and will be looking to improve on their 9th place finish at last year’s Men’s Surftag. The local Club have named an extended squad that includes Winter Vincent, Samson Coulter, Ben Hamilton, Dylan Bird, Sam Page, Jack MacDonald and Gezza McCallum.

QBC’s Manly Beach rivals North Steyne Boardriders also finished in equal 9th position at last year’s Men’s Surftag and will be represented this year by Saxon Reber, Axel Rose-Curotta, Blake Levett, Kalan Orchard and Ethan Dodson.
